CIO Summit Mauritius
The Rise of Agentic Systems
Celebrating 12 years of thought leadership, the IDC CIO Summit – Mauritius returns on 22 September 2026 in Port Luis as Mauritius’s premier gathering of technology decision-makers.
The Africa region is entering a new phase of digital acceleration – one defined by AI at scale, intelligent infrastructure, and policy frameworks designed for inclusive growth. What began as experimentation is now shifting toward strategic deployment, with AI investment across the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa expected to reach $14.6 billion by 2028.
At the heart of this transformation is a need for clarity: where to invest, how to govern, and what comes next. As GenAI and Agentic AI unlock new possibilities, organizations across Mauritius and the wider African region are moving toward Digital Transformation 2.0 – more ambitious, more complex, and more essential to national and business agendas.
The 2026 edition of the IDC Mauritius CIO Summit will examine how leaders can turn momentum into meaningful, measurable impact. From sustainable cloud and data infrastructure to AI governance, emerging use cases, and regional economic priorities, the focus is on building intelligent ecosystems that deliver long-term value. In a region where digital ambition is rising and technological shifts are accelerating, the opportunity is not only to keep pace, but to set the pace for Africa’s digital future.
